Cali Sproule

I am a director, creator, dramaturg, sometimes producer and always a passionate storyteller. In my art-making, I am intrigued by moving bodies in space in a way that shows our stories, exposes the subtly of experience, and reflects on our questions and echoes of our memories. My work has been described as bold, highly intellectualized, and "surgical".

I hold a Master of Fine Arts in Directing from the University of Calgary, a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre (Black Hole Theatre Program) and Psychology from the University of Manitoba, and I am a certified Consent Forward Artist through Intimacy Directors and Coordinators. I am currently being mentored by Andraea Sartison in directing through the Creative Manitoba Professional Mentorship Program.
